About me
As an experienced Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Certified Forensic Mental Health Evaluator, and qualified supervisor, I am deeply committed to supporting individuals and couples in navigating life's most challenging moments. My clinical practice spans a wide range of concerns, including chronic medical conditions, relationship issues, trauma, anxiety, depression, emotional disturbances, grief, substance recovery, and forensic evaluations.
As a military veteran’s wife, I am deeply passionate about providing high-quality mental health care. My experiences living in various locations, interacting with diverse cultures, and adapting to different environments have shaped my understanding of the importance of consistency, compassion, and support in mental wellness. I recognize that the journey toward mental well-being requires not only effective strategies but also the ability to meet individuals where they are, helping them navigate their unique challenges.
I believe in creating a safe, non-judgmental space where individuals and couples can explore their feelings, concerns, and fears. This is especially vital when addressing the sensitive and emotional topics of trauma, infertility, or reproductive health issues. My therapeutic approach is both holistic and empathetic, focusing on helping couples and individuals enhance their communication, strengthen their emotional connection, and resolve relational tensions as they face these challenges together.
My goal is to facilitate lasting change in an environment where clients feel comfortable expressing themselves. I use a variety of evidence-based techniques, tailored to each client’s unique needs, to support their emotional growth and healing. I aim to empower couples to regain hope, resilience, and a renewed sense of connection during a time that can often feel isolating and overwhelming.
I draw upon a range of therapeutic modalities, including Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Client-Centered Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). These approaches, combined with my training, experience, and passion, allow me to address each client's needs effectively, providing them with the tools and support they need to thrive.
I am committed to a flexible, collaborative approach to therapy, ensuring that clients feel comfortable and supported as we work together toward their goals. At A New Page Counseling, LLC, we are dedicated to guiding individuals and couples through their mental wellness journey and helping them build a life that feels worth living.
I look forward to supporting you on your mental health journey and helping you achieve your therapeutic goals.
