In my therapy practice, I enjoy watching clients come alive in new ways as they resolve issues such as unaddressed trauma, anxiety, depression, fractured relationships, and self-growth. I work primarily with adolescent girls and adults of all ages.

I offer both telehealth therapy through Talkspace and in-person counseling at my office in beautiful Beaufort, South Carolina. My clinical experience involved counseling children and teens who have experienced trauma and their families. In addition to my clinical training, I have years of experience working with teens, families, and adults in educational and religious settings.

In therapy, creating a safe, welcoming environment where clients feel heard is my first goal. I use a mix of trauma-focused and cognitive behavioral approaches to help clients understand themselves better and to empower them to make positive changes in their lives. Sub-specialties include parenting issues, sexual/physical/emotional trauma, and Christian counseling for those interested in faith-based therapy. My style is always warm, approachable, authentic, practical, and non-judgmental. Clients tell me that they often feel better and more hopeful after just one session.
