I am Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker with over 12 years of experience in the mental health field. I have years of experience working with children, adolescents, families and individuals. I specialize in treating individuals who have experienced trauma, depression, anxiety,Bipolar Disorder, interpersonal difficulties, self esteem issues,marital/relationship difficulties, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, sexual abuse and significant life changes.
I graduated from the University of Alabama. Roll Tide. I draw from a variety of methods to create a tailored approach for each individual. I'm experienced in using cognitive behavioral therapy, exposure therapy, strengths based and person centered approaches, and other perspectives and strategies. I feel that each individual needs to have their own treatment plan; some might need multiple or single strategies to assist on their personal path in therapy
