About me
Hello there, It is my honor to have this opportunity to partner with you in navigating the many complex challenges in your life's journey. My expertise includes addiction and recovery, mental health, management of depression and anxiety, related disorders, coping with and adaptation to complex medical challenges, aging, grief and loss, and spirituality.
I have experience working with diverse individuals, couples, and group experience. Treatment modalities I use in my work include Cognitive- Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical- Behavior Therapy, Rational- Emotive Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Motivational Therapy and Short term solution based therapy. My philosophy is we each have the ability to empower ourself to live our best life, achieving balance and stability. This is a process through honest self reflection, recognition of a need to make changes in our thinking and behaviors, and a willingness to take proactive steps to effect change, coupled with assistance, support and related tools. I have 20 years of clinical and related work experience, combined with over 25 years additional life experience, navigating interpersonal, family and other challenges, weaving this into my clinical work.
