Leslie Burley, TX LPC 17776

Ms. Leslie Burley has 47 years experience in the field of education. From 1973 to 2003, she was involved in all levels of teaching from elementary to secondary to college level as an Adjunct Instructor at Navarro Junior College, Texas Woman’s University, Cedar Valley Jr. College, and Prairie View A&M University. She has taught and is certified in a wide variety of subject areas such as Reading, English, Gifted Science, Math, College Developmental Reading and Developmental Writing. She also has 8 years of significant experience as an elementary school, middle school and special education counselor, and, in providing professional services as an individual, interpersonal, family, and community crisis counselor.

Since 2002, I have worked as a high school counselor, adjunct professor, and LPC-S counselor. My expertise lies in several areas from grief counseling, depression, and anxiety. I have had experience in dealing with clients of all ages. In the past few years I have also served as a marriage counselor that uses the Prepare and Enrich program. Upon receiving consent for counseling, I will discuss with you your treatment plan and get feedback from you as to your goal in counseling. As a counselor, I find it important to not just listen to the client but to be available if the client is in crisis. I hope to be working with you soon!
