About me
I have a passion for working with clients, couples and families of all ages and lifestyles. I practice a person-centered approach and use solution-focused cognitive behavioral therapy techniques, psychodynamic approaches, group therapy, choice, reality, acceptance and commitment therapy.
I grew up on the east side of the state, but have lived in the Grand Rapids area for most of my life. I have lived a very diverse lifestyle, including difficult relationships, parental loss, and family mental health issues. I am a mom of 2 adult daughters, and have 3 grandchildren! Life can be really complicated, and we all need people in our lives, we can reach out to, who will listen and help support us in our journey. I feel a great passion for helping others who want to heal, establish positive coping skills and find acceptance in their relationships and their lives.
