About me
If you’re tired of holding it all together while feeling anxious, stuck, or unsure of yourself, I help you break free from old patterns and finally feel calm, confident, and more like yourself again.
On the outside, you may look like you’ve got it all together. You show up, you handle things, you keep going. But inside, it feels different. There’s anxiety that won’t quiet down, self-doubt that keeps getting louder, and this constant pressure to not fall behind or let anyone down. It’s exhausting.
If that sounds like you, you’re not alone. And more importantly, you don’t have to keep doing this by yourself.
I work with teens, young adults, and adults who feel stuck in patterns they can’t seem to break. People who overthink, people-please, push themselves too hard, or carry more than anyone realizes. A lot of my clients come in saying, “I don’t even know why I feel this way. I just know I’m tired.” That’s a really good place to start.
Therapy with me is real and down to earth. You don’t have to come in with the right words or a perfectly put together story. You don’t have to impress me or have it all figured out. You just have to show up.
In our work together, we’ll slow things down and start making sense of what’s actually going on underneath the surface. We’ll look at the patterns that keep repeating, the thoughts that won’t leave you alone, and the ways you’ve learned to cope that might not be working anymore. Not to judge them, but to understand them.
From there, we start to shift things. You’ll learn how to quiet the noise in your head, how to respond differently instead of reacting on autopilot, and how to trust yourself again. We’ll build tools that actually fit your life, not just things that sound good in theory.
Progress in therapy doesn’t mean you suddenly become a different person. It looks more like this:
You pause instead of spiraling.
You speak up instead of shutting down.
You make a decision without second-guessing yourself for hours.
You feel a little lighter walking out of session than when you walked in.
Over time, those small shifts turn into something bigger. More confidence. More calm. More clarity about who you are and what you actually want.
My background as a teacher and school counselor gives me a deep understanding of the pressure teens and young adults are under right now. I’ve seen how anxiety, social expectations, and constant comparison can wear people down. I also work with adults who are navigating life transitions, relationships, and that quiet feeling of “this can’t be all there is.”
I also bring my own life experience into the room in a way that keeps therapy human. I understand relationships, change, and what it means to rebuild parts of yourself. I’m part of the LGBTQ+ community and create an affirming space where you can show up fully as who you are without having to explain or defend it.
You’ll find that I’m easy to talk to, honest, and genuinely invested in you. I’m not going to sit back silently or give you surface-level responses. I’ll ask questions that help you think differently, notice things you may not have seen before, and gently challenge what’s keeping you stuck, while still making sure you feel supported.
This is a space where you can be real. Where you can say the things you haven’t said out loud yet. Where you can start to understand yourself in a different way.
You don’t have to keep carrying everything on your own.
If you’re ready for things to feel different, I’d love to walk alongside you.
