About me
I am an experienced therapist who is dedicated to working with individuals cope with anxiety, depression, bipolar, traumatic experiences, and other mental health needs.
Welcome! I’m Lawren Long, a licensed Clinical Social Worker with 9 years of experience in helping individuals and families navigate life's challenges. My practice is dedicated to providing a safe, empathetic, and non-judgmental environment where clients can explore their feelings, overcome obstacles, and achieve personal growth.
I hold a master's degree in social work from Northwest Nazarene University and am licensed in Idaho. My professional journey has equipped me with a deep understanding of anxiety, depression, trauma, relationships, behavioral management, bipolar mood disorder, PTSD, stress management and more. I use evidence-based approaches to support my clients. Techniques such as Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness-Based Therapy, and Dialectical Behavior Therapy are integral to my practice, tailored to fit each individual’s unique needs.
My goal is to empower you to discover your strengths and resilience. Whether you’re dealing with immediate concerns or looking for long-term personal development, I am here to listen and guide you on your path to well-being. I believe in the power of therapeutic relationships and am committed to working collaboratively to help you achieve your goals.
In addition to my clinical work, I am an advocate for domestic violence victims and youth in the justice system and regularly participate in seminars, workshops, and training to stay connected with the latest advancements in the field.
Outside of my professional life, I enjoy spending time with my husband and children while we explore outdoors, camping, hiking, rafting, and reading, which helps me maintain a balanced and grounded perspective.
