About me
Having fought cancer, I know firsthand how helpful the right therapist can be when going through a challenging time. In turn, it's been an honor for me to be on the other end supporting my clients. I look forward to being that person for you, to working with you on your therapy goals and to facing your challenges together using evidence based practices that get results.
I specialize in anxiety, situational stress, and trauma in adults. I also expertise with navigating the challenges of cancer, mastectomy and IVF/Gestational Surrogacy. You will leave our sessions with new perspectives and skills to take on challenging situations. Sessions may include DBT, CBT, MI, Interpersonal Effectiveness, IFS, Mindfulness, Experiential Therapy, Meditation, Coping Skills, FLASH and EMDR.
Sessions vary depending on your objectives and content is determined collaboratively. Examples include processing current life stressors, challenging negative thoughts, setting boundaries, calming anxiety, preventing panic, and working through painful memories. Together, we will outline a course for accomplishing your goals at a pace that's reasonable and manageable.
Trained at Columbia University, I specialize in situational stress, anxiety and trauma.
My role is to assist you in bringing about the changes you'd like to see, whether it's working through difficult life experiences, calming anxiety, developing a stronger self-worth, or processing a traumatic experience. Engaging in therapy will leave you feeling empowered, connected to yourself, and equipped for difficult situations. I look forward to working together.
