About me
I'm a qualified therapist and registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy.
I have experience of working across different settings and supporting people from all walks of life. I have a genuine interest in people and in helping to ease their struggles. I know how it feels to need someone to listen. As a therapist, I always want you to feel heard and understood.
My training was integrative, which allows me the flexibility to draw from different therapeutic approaches. This always comes from a person-centred place, with you at the heart. Some of the things I may offer in a session include insight, reflection, gentle challenge, questions, coping tools, validation, and space for you to be heard.
One of the biggest things I can help with is facilitating awareness. By getting to know you, I can assist you to know yourself better. Whether you’ve fallen into unhelpful patterns or you struggle to recognise or express certain parts of yourself, having an outside perspective can help you begin to change things and to embrace your whole self.
