About me
I help adults heal childhood wounds that still shape their relationships, boundaries, and sense of self today.
Many people come to therapy already knowing quite a bit about themselves. You may know you people-please. You may know your family affected you. You may even know exactly where you need a boundary. What you can’t figure out is why knowing all of that still hasn’t made it easier to change.
That’s the work I’m interested in. I want to understand what happened underneath the pattern, what you learned to do to get through it, and why that response is still showing up now. I’m direct, I ask questions, and I’ll help you connect dots you may not have connected before. We can sit with the hard things without spending the rest of your life stuck in them.
I don’t believe therapy should be about becoming a different person. I want to help you get back to the parts of yourself that got buried underneath who you had to be for everyone else.
I listen closely, ask direct questions, and help you connect what happened then with what keeps happening now.
Some sessions will involve deeper trauma processing. Others may focus on a boundary you are trying to hold, a relationship that keeps pulling you back into an old role, a fight you keep having, or a reaction that surprised you.
The 4 Pillars of Our Work Together
Understand – Discover where your patterns came from and why they originally developed to protect you.
Heal – Process childhood wounds, grief, unmet needs, attachment wounds, and trauma in a safe space.
Change – Develop healthy boundaries, stop people-pleasing, communicate effectively, and make intentional choices.
Thrive – Build a grounded sense of self and create relationships and a life no longer dictated by old survival responses.
The work is personal, but it has direction. I want what you discover in therapy to become something you can actually live.
