About me
I am an experienced trauma therapist dedicated to helping people heal.
I am currently enrolled with Liberty University in the Doctoral Program for Trauma. I hold a Masters of Arts in Professional Mental Health Counseling from the University of the Cumberlands in Williamsburg, Kentucky. I have been serving children, adolescents, adults, and families for several years now. I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor Supervisor in Kentucky, as approved by the Kentucky Board of Licensed Professional Counselors in addition to being a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional endorsed by Evergreen Certifications. I also hold the credential of a 200 hour registered Yoga Teacher as approved by the National Yoga Alliance. I am also registered as a Star Military Provider.
I work with individuals from a variety of backgrounds on issues including depression, anxiety, stress, trauma, relationship challenges, grief and loss, parenting, and other mental health and life concerns.
As your counselor, I am here to support you in making meaning, creating comfort, and uncovering resources to help you be your best self. Taking an evidenced-based and client-centered approach, my goal is to provide a safe and supportive space where we can collaborate and work at your own pace to help you reach your goals.
I have experience working with children, adolescents, adults, and group therapy. In addition to more traditional counseling techniques, I also offer yoga, mindfulness, and EMDR therapies as a way to help clients work through distress and build resiliency.
