About me
With 45 years of experience as a therapist, I am committed to providing exceptional counseling for teens, adults, couples and families.
Practicing with my wife Carolyn in Richardson since 1985, there are few conditions I have not seen or treated. Regarded as a local expert on ADHD, hundreds have come for evaluations or therapy. Our practice has won an award for five years running as the most outstanding mental health providers in Richardson. Cognitive behavior therapy is the most common therapy practiced today but I still practice intensive psychotherapy when it's called for. I am also a published author and treatment provider of services using hypnosis, a common treatment approach for anxiety and PTSD. Years ago, as researcher, I participated in creating the diagnostic criteria for bipolar disorder.
