About me
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor committed to supporting children, teens, and adults as they navigate challenges such as depression, anxiety, trauma, and ADHD through compassionate and personalized individual therapy
I’m dedicated to providing a safe, supportive space where you feel heard and understood. By blending evidence-based practices with a compassionate, holistic approach, I help you address both the symptoms and root causes of your challenges. My focus is on building trust and empowering you every step of the way toward healing and growth. I help individuals navigate challenges such as post-traumatic stress, depression, anxiety, and ADHD. Through evidence-based therapies like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, we work together to not only alleviate symptoms but also foster a deeper sense of well-being. In our sessions, we'll explore your unique experiences, uncover the underlying causes of your struggles, and focus on growth, self-love, forgiveness, and inner peace. My goal is to empower you to set meaningful goals and embrace the fulfilling life you're truly meant to live.
For the past decade, I’ve had the privilege of working with adults, teens, and children in a variety of settings, including a non-
profit organization, an inpatient facility, a group practice, and, for nearly two years, my own private practice. I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a Master of Education in Counseling and Guidance from an accredited university. I’m passionate about learning, staying current with the latest research and training to ensure you're receiving evidence-based care. While I paused my pursuit of a doctoral degree, I plan to return in the near future. In the meantime, I am working towards an ADHD certification and once completed, pursuing to become a Certified Mental Health & Nutrition Clinical Specialist where we explore how food can impact our well-being and serve as a form of medicine.
I offer flexible counseling services designed to fit your schedule, including virtual morning, evening, and weekend appointments for your convenience. If you need to reschedule, the process is easy. You have access to my calendar using your own client portal. Plus, you’ll communicate directly with me, ensuring a personalized and seamless experience. I use a secure directory and insurance
billing platform called Headway. Insurance, credit cards, and Health Savings Accounts are accepted. I’m in-network with BCBS, Cigna, Aetna, Optum, Oxford, Carelon, Quest, United Healthcare, and Oscar. I am a provider with Alma who offers 45-minute sessions to clients using Aetna Resources for Living EAP and Cigna Confide Enhanced EAP.
I have a deep sense of love and compassion for others, which is why I’ve dedicated myself to becoming a Licensed Professional Counselor. My passion is helping people find emotional healing and balance in their lives. I firmly believe in the power of connection, trust, and therapeutic alliance between therapist and client. This is where the name “Kindred Hearts” Counseling and Behavioral Services came from. My goal is to help you heal, reduce symptoms, make changes, and build the self-esteem needed to take action in becoming the best version of yourself. This isn't just a job for me—it's a calling!
