Maybe you often feel overly sensitive or overstimulated from day-to-day experiences. Do you have reactions to situations that seem exaggerated and extreme, but you have no idea why? Are your emotional reactions inconsistent with your logical thoughts and beliefs? If your answer is yes to any of these questions, then I look forward to working with you to understand yourself better, to heal the root issues and develop effective strategies to achieve the peace and freedom you desire.
I specialized in helping individuals, teen to adult, through life's challenges and transitions, a current crisis, past traumatic experiences or lifelong issues beginning as a child. I am EMDR certified and my approach to counseling is holistic and integrative.
The goal of our collaboration is to help you to think, feel and act in ways that are consistent with your authentic self. We'll do all we can to increase your ability to recognize both the causes of your emotional reactions and how to best be resilient on a day-to-day basis. I want you to "find yourself, and be that."
