About me
My approach to counseling is deeply rooted in empathy and understanding, influenced by my personal experiences with grief, trauma, and the loss of my own son. These profound life events have shaped my approach to healing, giving me a deep, compassionate insight into the struggles my clients face. Through this lens, I have cultivated a therapeutic style that prioritizes the person-centered approach, emphasizing unconditional positive regard, active listening, and authenticity. I believe that every individual has the innate strength to heal and find peace, and it is my role to guide them through this journey to restoration.
Through firsthand and clinical exposure, I’ve gained insight into the complexities of issues such as addictions, grief, and trauma, enabling me to foster a compassionate, non-judgmental clinical and evidenced-based approach with clients.
By creating a safe, supportive space where my clients feel heard and valued, I work to re-instill hope and help them reconnect with a sense of peace and possibility in their lives, no matter the magnitude of their pain.
