About me
I’m a Sikh‑Punjabi first‑generation immigrant therapist offering culturally attuned, compassionate care in English and Punjabi, working with adults, couples, and teens.
With a trauma‑informed, strengths‑based orientation, I create a safe, non‑judgmental space for adults, teens, couples, and families navigating anxiety, depression, mood swings, relationship strain, or the lingering effects of intergenerational trauma. My practice is grounded in a trauma‑informed, strengths‑based orientation, and I strive to create a safe, non‑judgmental space where each person feels heard and supported.
I draw on evidence‑based modalities such as Cognitive‑Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Family Systems Theory, complemented by solution‑focused and narrative techniques. This blend helps clients re‑author their stories, develop practical coping tools, and move toward constructive change.
In our sessions, you’ll find a supportive environment where your narrative is respected and your strengths are highlighted. Together we will identify and shift unhelpful thought‑behavior patterns, build concrete, solution‑oriented coping skills, explore and heal trauma narratives, and strengthen family dynamics and resilience through a systemic lens.
