About me
I am an experienced and fully licensed Professional Counselor who is dedicated to helping clients over the age of 25 in the areas of expertise coping skills for anxiety & depression, stress management, relationship conflict, peer relationships, thinking disorders, self-esteem, setting healthy boundaries, toxic relationships, and co-dependency.
Building a strong therapeutic relationship is one of the critical elements of counseling. As I work towards this, I ensure to create a safe and non-judgmental space for my clientsso that they can share their challenges by exploring their current thoughts, feelings, and
emotions. Utilizing evidence-based therapeutic interventions that best fit an individual’s needs, I see psychotherapy as a collaborative effort between therapist and client. I adhere to the highest standards of ethical practice and respect towards client confidentiality. Your privacy and comfort are my utmost priority, and I strive to create a safe and confidential environment where you can express your thoughts and emotions
openly and securely.
Understanding that one size does not fit all, I’m able to use my knowledge and skills to identify the therapeutic modalities that best fit each client’s unique needs. Some elements of therapeutic modalities used in the past include elements from cognitive behavior therapy (CBT), dialectic behavior therapy (DBT), mindfulness-based approach, person-centered approach, and solution-focused therapy. Whether it is to gain skills in managing their challenges or fostering healing and growth, each client’s unique challenge is explored by deep exploration of their past, where they are in the present, and the change they hope to see in the future.
