About me

I am a trauma therapist and licensed clinical social worker with several years of experience working with diverse populations.

Health is so much more than physical care and therapy is so much more than a mental check-up. My approach to therapy tends to be holistic in nature; I believe the needs and experiences of each person are unique and widespread, requiring a flexible approach to therapy. My hope is to be a safe resource and support for your journey, to come alongside you as you discover healing, and to help you sustainably achieve your goals. I want to help you get unstuck and thrive by helping you pay attention to your mental, emotional, spiritual, physical, creative, and systemic health. I approach the therapeutic relationship with humility and respect and safety is of utmost importance; I am receptive to feedback and am interested in what you need and want out of therapy. I believe it’s important to have someone who can help you see your patterns with kindness and safety so that you can grow! If you’re looking to go deeper into healing and live life authentically, I would love to work with you!
My clients come to me because I specialize in trauma, self-awareness, family of origin issues, relational and attachment wounds, spiritual issues, grief and loss, abuse, life transitions, culture shock, communication, meeting goals, boundary work, connection, emotional maturity, & improving overall mental & emotional health. My client’s value safety in relationship, and they know that I work hard to understand their intentions and their needs. My client’s know they have someone in their corner.
I am trained in EMDR, Motivational Interviewing, the SSP, Post Induction Therapy (also called Relational Trauma Resolution Therapy) and TBRI. I also have some training in DBT, CBT, narrative therapy, strengths-based therapy, EFT, and more. I engage in regular learning/trainings, have a long history of job experience with diverse populations and backgrounds, and keep up to date with current research to help me bring value in therapy. I also regularly engage in therapy myself because I believe it’s an important part of being a therapist! I enjoy showing people what a safe, attuned relationship can look like and how healing it can be for people. I can help you connect your past to your present, your mind to your body, and your thoughts to your behaviors in a meaningful way to help you growth with hope.
