About me
I am an experienced and licensed clinical social worker with broad experience in working with adults with complex mental health conditions related to anxiety, trauma, depression and mania. I am also very experienced with co-occurring components such as substance use and personality traits. I am licensed in New York, Connecticut and Massachusetts.
I am very focused on recovery and what that means to each person. I believe humor and compassion contribute towards creating a safe space, allowing individuals to express concerns and feelings openly without fear of judgment. I have advanced training in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Cognitive Processing Therapy for trauma, and the correlation between mental health and nutrition. I aim to work collaboratively with clients, meeting them where they are at. I also utilize my own lived experience with mental health and my recovery journey as a tool to enhance understanding and show to clients that they are not alone. I value the process of building rapport and encouraging clients to identify what a life worth living looks like to them.
