About me
Life can feel overwhelming and it's okay to ask for support. You don't have to navigate life's challenges alone. With over 30 years of experience in the mental health field, I bring a deep understanding of the therapeutic process and a strong commitment to helping individuals thrive. I offer a compassionate, collaborative space where you will be seen and heard. Together, we'll explore challenges, build coping skills, and help you feel more balanced.
I believe that a strong, trusting relationship between a therapist and a client is key to making positive changes. I work to create a warm, supportive, and caring space where people feel safe to talk about their experiences and goals.
My approach focuses on each person’s strengths and ability to grow. I aim to build hope and help people recognize their own potential. I guide clients through their therapy journey, beginning at their individual starting point and using proven methods tailored to their unique needs and preferences. I also look at the bigger picture of well-being, understanding that mental health is closely connected to things like sleep, nutrition, exercise, fun, and relationships.
I enjoy working with clients who are open to growth and willing to look at their thoughts, emotions and patterns, even when it’s hard. I’m especially drawn to people who want to better understand themselves and are open to working together to make real, lasting changes. I value honesty, curiosity and a willingness to be open and engaged throughout the process.
