About me
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with extensive experience supporting adults (18+) in navigating challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and disordered eating. Additionally, I specialize in supporting bariatric surgery clients, providing both required psychological assessments and ongoing pre- and post-surgery care.
I am dedicated to helping adults navigate life’s challenges with greater clarity and resilience. With a decade of experience in mental health, I am experienced in addressing perfectionism, codependency, intrusive thoughts, sleep issues, health issues, and relationships with food that underlie and contribute to mental health. I also have extensive experience working with bariatric surgery clients, offering psychological assessments as well as compassionate support before and after surgery to help promote both emotional and physical wellbeing. My approach integrates compassion with evidence-based strategies to help you explore not just the “what” but the “why” behind your experiences. Together, we’ll look at the emotional, cognitive, and relational patterns that influence your behaviors. I use a combination of CBT, mindfulness, and motivational interviewing, along with trauma-informed and Internal Family Systems (IFS) perspectives, to help you develop self-awareness, self-compassion, and emotional regulation skills that support your goals.
In addition to my own clinical work, I am the founder and owner of Truth and Wellbeing, a group practice built on the values of collaboration, care, and growth. We focus on creating a foundation that honors your body, mind, and overall wellbeing. At Truth and Wellbeing, I lead a team of highly skilled clinicians who share my commitment to helping clients feel understood, supported, and empowered. Together, we offer a wide range of evidence-based services tailored to the unique needs of each individual.
Whether you are seeking guidance through a period of transition, working to heal from past experiences, or striving to make lasting lifestyle changes, my practice provides a safe, compassionate space for growth and healing. We are here to walk alongside you, offering tools, insight, and support as you move toward the life you want to create.
