About me
Meeting families where they are at in the developmental and life journeys. I offer counseling for individuals, couples and families trying to sort things out. When that is not the choice, mediation for decision-making or custody evaluations for conflict can help families restructure for a more hopeful future. I have available court-approved parent ed classes for separating families as well as on-going parenting classes.
Being a South Dakota native you will find me down to earth and approachable. I promise I will always walk with you in finding your better self(ves). I am a foodie, gardener and country recluse, although I love visiting the city and camping in the hills. I am loving my independent practice since the retirement of Great Plains Psychological Services. My style is interpersonal, cognitive behavioral with a focus on attachment theory and trauma impact. While I walk with families through their restructuring, I also believe in repairing relationships between parents and parents, and parents and children. The name Recourse (ReKors') means getting help out of a tough situation, and I am here to help your ready.
