About me
What if there's more to how you're feeling than meets the eye? As an integrative and holistic psychiatric nurse practitioner, I help adults and older teens navigate depression, anxiety, ADHD, and other mental health challenges by exploring the bigger picture—including the physical, emotional, hormonal, and biological factors that influence mental well-being.
Sometimes the hardest part of struggling with your mental health is not understanding why you feel the way you do. Maybe you've tried medications or other treatments without the improvement you hoped for. Maybe you're dealing with anxiety, depression, difficulty concentrating, or changes in your mood and energy that don't seem to have a clear explanation. Or perhaps you simply haven't felt like yourself in a long time.
That's where a different perspective can make a difference.
As a board-certified psychiatric and family nurse practitioner with extensive experience in integrative medicine and psychiatry, I combine conventional psychiatric treatment with functional medicine and a holistic understanding of the whole person. My approach reflects a belief that our emotional and physical health are deeply interconnected, and that understanding those connections can open up new possibilities for feeling better.
At Holos Health, I work with adults and older teens experiencing depression, anxiety, ADHD, mood changes, chronic stress, and other mental health concerns. I have particular experience working with neurodivergent individuals, including those with ADHD and autism, as well as highly intelligent, creative, and unconventional thinkers who may have spent much of their lives feeling misunderstood or out of step with the expectations around them. I especially enjoy working with people who are curious about themselves, value a thoughtful and individualized approach, or haven't found the answers they were hoping for through previous treatment.
Rather than focusing exclusively on a diagnosis, I take time to explore what may be contributing to how you're feeling. Hormonal changes, thyroid function, nutritional deficiencies, metabolic health, sleep, chronic illness, stress, and life experiences can all influence mental well-being. Understanding these connections can sometimes reveal opportunities for treatment that might otherwise be overlooked.
Our work together is collaborative and individualized. Depending on your needs, treatment may include psychiatric medication management, comprehensive laboratory testing, hormone evaluation, nutritional and lifestyle recommendations, and other integrative approaches. There's no one-size-fits-all plan, and you should have a voice in the decisions about your care.
Above all, I want you to feel heard, understood, and hopeful about what's possible. My goal isn't simply to help you manage symptoms, but to help you better understand yourself, improve how you feel and function, and move toward a greater sense of well-being.
