About me
Hi, I'm Kim! I help anxious preteens/teenagers build emotional and social skills to tackle school-based concerns.
Thank you for visiting my site. I’ve spent the last two decades mentoring girls in juvenile hall, supporting homeless and at-risk youth, and counseling adolescents and families as a school counselor in both elementary and high school settings. I hold a master’s in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy—and I bring all of that experience, heart, and fire into every session, every story, and every transformation.
I know how nerve-wracking it can feel to start therapy. I’ve been on my own personal journey and sat in the client’s chair both individually and with my spouse of 12 years for over two decades with a few different therapist, so I understand what it’s like to feel unsure or even nervous about the process. That’s why it’s so important for me to create a space that feels warm, safe, and inviting—a place where you can show up exactly as you are. I don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all approach, because you’re not a one-size-fits-all person, couple or family. You have your own story, your own challenges, and your own strengths. My role is to meet you where you are and walk alongside you as you take steps toward healing and new beginnings.
I work with individuals, teens, parents and children, and couples—whether you’re navigating the pressures of daily life, stresses, worries, preparing for marriage, or working through challenges in your relationship, I understand. At the heart of my work is this belief: you are the writer of your story. I’m here to support you with empathy, understanding, and tools to help you find clarity, connection, and hope.
If you’re ready to take the next step, I’d be honored to walk this journey with you! Feel free to rach out to explore more about my practice.
