About me

Lycan Counseling Collective is comprised of many providers that have immediate openings for online work focusing on provide safe, affirming care to youth and adults who identify as LGBTQIA2S+ and/or neurospicy/ND and who are experiencing a variety of mental health concerns.

Our providers have a variety of modalities that we specialize in to best support clients. We believe that systemic issues impact us all and our ability to cope with challenges. We work to empower you to create change that will be sustainable and help you navigate these challenges. Our diverse team has many modality focuses such as EMDR, and Intuitive Eating. Most of us have a more eclectic approach and tailor to your individual needs. In general, we all work with anxiety, trauma, stress, transitions, & depression, and we have some folks that specialize in couples work, eating disorders, suicidality, and more. We provide trans affirming care and letters for surgery with 1x appointments.

As a collective we value working with providers and clients that share values supportive of those most vulnerable and in need. We take a cooperative and social justice approach to our work both in session and out of session in our advocacy efforts. We believe that systemic issues (e.g. capitalism, racism, homophobia, transphobia, aphobia, fatphobia) impact us all and our ability to cope with challenges and truly thrive as who we are. We see our work as a collaboration with you, a walk along side - not over - to empower you to create change that will be sustainable and help you navigate these challenges. We recognize the harm that is often perpetuated in our field and a need to develop trust between us. To that end, we believe that it is important for therapists to share some of their identity so that you know who you are sitting in the room with. We don't have space to share more here, but you can learn more on our website lycancounseling.com/therapists.
