About me
I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with over 25 years of experience in the mental health field. In addition to my clinical work, I hold a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology, which deepens my understanding of complex emotional and relational issues. My extensive background allows me to provide compassionate, insight-oriented therapy that helps clients navigate life’s challenges and create meaningful, lasting change.
Throughout my 23 years in community mental health, I have been deeply committed to working with individuals and families from a wide range of cultural, ethnic, and socioeconomic backgrounds. One of the primary reasons I chose to remain in community-based work for over two decades is my strong belief in equitable access to mental health care and education. I have always sought to be of service to the entire community—not just those with privilege or access—and this commitment has shaped every aspect of my clinical and supervisory work.
I strive to create a supportive, inclusive, and culturally responsive environment that honors each individual’s lived experience and identity. I approach my work with humility, curiosity, and a deep respect for the resilience and resourcefulness of clients navigating systemic barriers.
