About me
Do you feel stuck, overwhelmed by everyday demands, or caught in the same painful patterns despite your efforts to change? I’m Kianna, a licensed therapist in Alabama and Indiana and founder of Resonate Empowerment Solutions, where we don’t just talk about patterns, we change them. I specialize in ADHD, relational trauma, and emotional overwhelm, helping adults and teens ages 14 and up manage daily life, build trust in themselves, and make changes that fit their needs.
Hi, I’m Kianna McIntosh, founder of Resonate Empowerment Solutions and a licensed therapist in Alabama and Indiana. I bring more than eight years of clinical experience and specialized training as an ADHD Certified Clinical Services Provider to my work with adults and teens ages 14 and up.
I specialize in helping adults diagnosed with ADHD later in life make sense of experiences they may have spent years blaming themselves for. Knowing what to do but struggling to start, losing track of time, or feeling overwhelmed by everyday responsibilities can affect more than your schedule. These struggles can shape your confidence, relationships, and the expectations you place on yourself.
I also work with people navigating relational trauma, difficulty setting boundaries, and the exhaustion of always being the person others depend on. You may be ready for something to change without knowing where to begin. That’s something we can figure out together.
My style is conversational, compassionate, and direct. I’ll ask questions, help you notice connections, and gently challenge beliefs that may be keeping you stuck. We’ll also look at what happens between sessions: where things get difficult, what support is missing, and which strategies actually work for you. You can tell me when something doesn’t fit.
Depending on your goals, our work may include ADHD education, executive functioning strategies, cognitive behavioral therapy, or Brainspotting. We’ll make room for both practical skills and processing painful experiences, with goals centered on your needs rather than perfect productivity.
At Resonate, we don’t just talk about patterns, we change them. You don’t have to have everything figured out before reaching out.
