About me
I am Keyunna King, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT). I believe therapy should be a space where you can show up exactly as you are; without judgment, pressure, or feeling like you have to have everything figured out before you begin.
I work with individuals, couples, and families navigating anxiety, stress, relationship and communication challenges, family conflict, life transitions, self-esteem, emotional overwhelm, and those moments when you simply feel stuck and know something needs to change.
My approach is warm, supportive, down-to-earth, and collaborative. I’m not here to just sit back and ask, “How does that make you feel?” every session. I want to understand what you’re experiencing, help you recognize patterns that may be keeping you stuck, and work with you to develop practical tools that can create meaningful change in your everyday life.
As a Marriage and Family Therapist, I have a special appreciation for relationships and the ways our families, experiences, environments, and connections with others shape who we are. I enjoy helping couples strengthen communication and rebuild connection, families navigate difficult dynamics, and individuals create healthier relationships with themselves and the people around them.
I also understand that reaching out for therapy can feel uncomfortable, especially if you’re used to being the strong one, handling things on your own, or taking care of everyone else. You don’t have to have the perfect words or know exactly where to start. We can figure that out together.
My goal is for you to leave our sessions feeling heard, supported, challenged when needed, and equipped with tools you can actually use outside of therapy. Whether you’re working through a difficult season, trying to improve your relationships, or simply ready to become a healthier and more fulfilled version of yourself, I would be honored to support you along the way.
You’ve already taken an important step by considering therapy. I look forward to helping you take the next one.
