About me
Struggling with anxious attachment or anxiety in general? I specialize in working with anxiously attached individuals who are ready to break the cycle of overthinking, people pleasing, and fear driven relationships, and start feeling more secure.
You found us for a reason. Whether you have been searching for the right therapist for weeks, finally worked up the courage to reach out, or you are in the middle of something that cannot wait any longer we are glad you are here. Harper's Haven Marriage, Family & Child Counseling Corp. is a telehealth therapy practice serving clients throughout California, and we exist for one reason to help real people do real healing in a space that finally feels safe enough to let their guard down.
Founded by Keshia Bell, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, Harper's Haven was built on something deeply personal. Keshia started this practice to carry forward her father's legacy of helping others and that legacy shows up in everything we do. This is not a corporate therapy mill where you are a case number and a copay. This is a practice where the people who work here genuinely care about the people who walk through our virtual doors. You will feel that difference from your very first session.
We have the right clinician for you.
One of the things our clients tell us matters most is finding a therapist who actually gets it who gets them. At Harper's Haven we have a team of skilled, compassionate, and highly trained licensed and associate level clinicians ready to work with you. Each clinician brings their own unique expertise, background, and therapeutic approach, and we take matching you with the right person seriously. You are not just getting a therapist. You are getting someone who has been carefully selected, trained, and supervised to provide the specific kind of support that fits your life, your goals, and your story.
What we help with:
Life brings all kinds of hard. We work with clients navigating anxiety that never seems to quiet down the kind that follows you into sleep, hijacks your relationships, and makes the simplest decisions feel impossible. We work with trauma not just what happened, but what it left behind. The hypervigilance. The nightmares. The way certain moments pull you back to a place you never wanted to revisit. Our clinicians are trained in evidence based trauma treatments and approach every trauma case with the patience, skill, and deep respect that survivors deserve.
We work with couples who love each other but cannot seem to stop hurting each other. Couples who have grown distant and want to find each other again. Couples rebuilding after betrayal. Couples who want to start strong and build something that lasts. Couples therapy at Harper's Haven is not about taking sides it is about helping both of you finally feel heard at the same time and building the connection you both actually want.
We work with individuals adults navigating depression, grief, life transitions, burnout, identity, and the quiet suffering that comes from carrying too much for too long. Adolescents figuring out who they are in a world that can feel overwhelming. Children who need a safe, engaging space to process what they are going through in a way that actually makes sense to them.
We work with families blended families navigating loyalty and belonging, co-parents trying to raise children together after the relationship has ended, and family systems that need a skilled clinician to help everyone finally be in the same room and actually hear each other.
Our specialty populations because some people need a therapist who truly understands.
Postpartum mothers we see you. The exhaustion, the guilt, the grief for who you were before, the anxiety you did not expect, and the smile you put on because you think you are supposed to feel grateful. Our postpartum support group, The Connection Group, is a 12-week program where you can finally be honest about all of it with a clinician who gets it and a community of women who understand.
Domestic violence survivors your healing matters and you deserve more than crisis support. We offer both individual therapy and a survivor support group for women who are ready to move from surviving to rebuilding reclaiming their identity, their voice, and their life.
Individuals with invisible disabilities living with something people cannot see is its own kind of exhausting. The grief, the identity shifts, the relationships that have changed, the life that looks different from what you planned. Our invisible disabilities group was built specifically for you.
Healing does not have to happen in a waiting room.
Every service at Harper's Haven is delivered 100% via telehealth secure, private, and accessible from anywhere in California. No commute. No childcare scramble. No sitting in a waiting room. Just you, your clinician, and the work from wherever you actually are. We also offer services in both English and Spanish because language should never be a barrier to healing.

You are someone who has been through something real and you deserve support that meets the full weight of your experience with clinical excellence and genuine human care. At Harper's Haven we take this work seriously and we have a little fun doing it too, because healing does not have to be heavy every single day.
