About me
I'm a certified trauma professional with a compassionate heart, a curious nature, and an informal peer-driven, existential approach.
Are you tired of being tired, or just fed up with the way things are going in the world? Feeling isolated, shut down, burned out, or overwhelmed? Maybe you see things differently than others and it leaves you feeling weird, or maybe someone has literally called you crazy. I'm here to squash the gaslighting: it's "no measure of health to be well-adjusted to a profoundly sick society!"
I'm here to tell you that you aren't alone. I can help you manage your moods and worry, calm your nervous system, and get back on track to the creativity and fullness of life you long for. My style is informal, and I operate as an existential therapist but also utilize mindfulness tools as well as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. We can also use focused mindfulness methods (Brainspotting) to look at old emotional (and other traumatic) wounds and reprocess them in order to begin to move forward, make choices that align with who you want to be, and get out of "stuckness," unhealthy patterns, and creative blocks and ruts.
I offer online and telephone sessions week-long, and in-person therapy sessions a couple of days a week at a private Port Huron location. Take the first (or next) step today toward a balanced nervous system and mental wellness. Give me a call or text me for a free consultation and get on track to a more calm, confident, and creative you.
