About me
I help adults with ADHD and social anxiety better understand the patterns that keep them feeling stuck, build practical strategies for everyday life, and create meaningful, lasting change.
My approach is practical, structured, strength based, and insight oriented. I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Psychodynamic Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and psychoeducation while tailoring treatment to each client rather than applying the same method to everyone. I combine practical strategies with a deeper exploration of the beliefs, emotional patterns, and past experiences that influence how you think, feel, and respond.
With ADHD, we may work on executive functioning, procrastination, emotional regulation, organization, task initiation, time awareness, relationships, and the impact of years of misunderstanding or criticism. We also look at patterns that may keep you feeling stuck, including self-criticism, avoidance, and reactions that developed for a reason but may no longer be helping in the same way.
I bring both professional expertise and personal understanding of ADHD to my work. I know that insight alone is not always enough, and that advice such as “just make a list” or “try harder” is rarely useful. I help clients understand how their own minds operate, build practical skills, and create strategies that fit their lives, responsibilities, and individual needs.
For social anxiety, I use a structured CBT approach to help clients understand the thoughts, self-focused attention, avoidance, and protective behaviors that keep anxiety going. Treatment is collaborative and practical, with an emphasis on gradually becoming more comfortable participating in social, professional, and relationship situations.
My practice serves adults age 18 and older. I offer in person therapy in Mesa, Arizona, as well as telehealth throughout Arizona. My goal is to provide a supportive space where clients feel understood while helping them build insight, strengthen skills, and make meaningful, lasting changes in their lives.
