About me
Welcome! I am passionate about supporting people navigating the unexpected circumstances in their life. Unexpected wrinkles can surprise and derail us in our lives. These emotions can lead to further negative thoughts and overwhelming emotions leaving us stuck. I can come alongside with encouragement, support, and skills to move toward the changes you desire. I look forward to partnering with you to identify changes, empower you through skills and support, and celebrate with you as we work through the wrinkles of life together.
I graduated in 2011 from Colorado State University with a Masters in Social Work degree. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), I have worked in middle and high schools, a community mental health center, and a group practice honing my skills to empower people to identify their goals and take the steps they need to attain their desires. I am passionate about walking alongside clients who have PTSD, anxiety, depression, life transitions, relational, spiritual, and/or cross-cultural issues, and insomnia.
I focus on adults and kids (10+) for individual, couples, and family counseling. I utilize skills from the following modalities: Cognitive Processing Therapy for PTSD healing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Trauma Focused - Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for kids with trauma as well as Motivational Interviewing, Solution Focused Brief Therapy, and Dyadic Developmental Psychotherapy, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy - Insomnia.
