About me
Hello, my name is Kenneth Denny. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 30 +years experience providing individual, couples and family therapy. I work with a broad range of presenting issues: such as anxiety, depression, trauma, guilt and shame, loss and grief, anger management, identity, relationship and parenting problems and workplace issues. I have also worked with a wide range of ethnic, cultural and economically diverse populations. I also work with LGBTQIA+ clients.
My counseling style is engaging, direct, relaxed, and encouraging. My treatment approach combines psycho educational, cognitive behavioral, mindfulness therapy and family systems and solution focused therapy. I provide a clinical space that is safe, non-judgmental and supportive. I use these models to assist clients to gain a deeper understanding of their thoughts, feelings, actions, triggers and entanglements. Together we develop a treatment plan that is tailored to address specific issues, increase self confidence in desired areas and to develop a tool kit for assertive self care and personal growth.
Taking a step in your own behalf is the first step in making important changes in your life and being happier and more fulfilled.
I look forward to hearing from you.
