About me
Therapist Keneisha Newland-Brathwaite experience enables her to offer effective outpatient, individualized, psychological care via the comfort of your private space, through video conferencing. My focus is to help individuals find their serenity, using Motivational Interviewing and Cognitive Behavioral Techniques.
I am Jamaican born, migrated to the US as a child. I hold a Bachelors in Criminal Justice, Masters in Psychology & a Masters in Social Work. I found my passion in helping others particularly through the Social Service field and eventually as a Social Worker. I embarked in the mental health field, I wanted to create a space where individuals do not need the confines of a building, in order to access services. Thus the birth of my company, Serenity, Courage & Wisdom Counseling (SCW). A a space dedicated to virtual therapy and as our phrase says, therapy is in your hands--literally; any device possible. Twenty percent my company is dedicated to offering service members and low income families a 50% discount on therapy, ensuring that a space is accessible for those meeting this criteria. SCW is a non-judgmental and invite virtual space seeking to help and empower the clients served.
