About me
As a psychologist in private practice, I help individuals, couples, and families strengthen relationships, heal from trauma, and navigate life’s transitions with greater understanding and compassion. My work is grounded in the belief that growth happens in connection—both with others and within ourselves.
Many of the challenges we face—conflict, anxiety, depression, disconnection—stem from experiences of pain or unmet emotional needs. In therapy, we create a safe, supportive space to explore these patterns, make sense of your experiences, and develop new ways of relating that promote healing and balance.
My Approach
I view therapy as a collaborative process. You bring your story, your strengths, and your hopes for change. I bring professional expertise, compassion, and a calm, nonjudgmental space where you can explore what’s working in your life—and what isn’t. Together, we identify patterns, build understanding, and practice new ways of relating that align with your values and goals.
My approach is trauma-informed, relationship-centered, and grounded in evidence-based models. These approaches support healing on emotional, relational, and physiological levels—helping you rebuild safety, trust, and connection at a pace that feels right for you.
Areas of Focus
Individual Therapy
In individual therapy, I help clients navigate the effects of trauma, anxiety, depression, loss, and major life transitions. Our work focuses on deepening self-understanding, strengthening emotional resilience, and healing the relationship you have with yourself. When you feel grounded and connected internally, you can engage with others and with life in more meaningful ways.
Couples Therapy
Relationships are living systems—they require attention, care, and communication to thrive. In couples therapy, we work together to uncover patterns of disconnection, rebuild trust, and create more authentic, supportive partnerships. The goal isn’t perfection, but connection—learning how to feel understood, valued, and emotionally safe with one another.
Family Therapy
Families are complex ecosystems where love, conflict, and history intertwine. Family therapy offers a space for members to strengthen understanding, improve communication, and repair strained relationships. Whether you’re addressing conflict, life transitions, or intergenerational wounds, therapy can help your family find new ways to connect and support one another.
Perinatal and Infant Mental Health
The transition to parenthood can be one of the most profound and challenging experiences in life. I work with individuals and couples during pregnancy, postpartum, and early parenthood to support emotional well-being and strengthen the parent–infant bond.
Therapy can help with perinatal mood and anxiety disorders, birth trauma, adjustment to parenthood, attachment concerns, and the complex emotions that arise in early caregiving. My approach honors both the parent’s and the infant’s emotional worlds, supporting a foundation of secure attachment and compassionate self-understanding.
Healing from Trauma
Trauma can leave lasting imprints on our minds, bodies, and relationships. Whether it stems from a single event or ongoing relational harm, it can make trust, safety, and closeness feel out of reach. In therapy, we work gently and collaboratively to help you process trauma, restore a sense of safety, and reconnect with your capacity for resilience and joy.
Healing from trauma is not about forgetting—it’s about integrating your experiences and reclaiming your sense of agency and wholeness.
The Goal of Our Work
The aim of therapy isn’t to “fix” you—it’s to help you reconnect with your authentic self and create relationships that reflect your deepest values. Healing, growth, and connection are possible at every stage of life.
Whether you’re seeking support for trauma recovery, relationship challenges, or the transition into parenthood, therapy can help you find balance, meaning, and deeper connection.
When we heal in relationship—with ourselves and with others—we don’t just recover; we grow, thrive, and come home to who we truly are.
