About me
As a trauma therapist, I specialize in providing compassionate, evidence-based care to individuals dealing with the lasting effects of trauma. Drawing from my 25 years of experience as a paramedic and 10 years in the U.S. Air Force, I offer a unique understanding of the challenges faced by first responders, military personnel, and others who have experienced high-stress and traumatic situations. I utilize approaches such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), trauma-focused therapy, and mindfulness techniques to help clients process their experiences, build resilience, and regain a sense of control in their lives.
I love doing this work because it allows me to give back to a community I deeply understand and care about. Helping others find healing, strength, and hope after trauma is incredibly rewarding, and I am honored to support my clients on their journey toward recovery and well-being.
I am a retired paramedic with 25 years of experience in emergency medical services and 10 years of service in the United States Air Force. Now working as a trauma therapist, I leverage my extensive background in high-pressure environments to help individuals navigate the complex effects of trauma. My firsthand experience in EMS and the military gives me a unique perspective and deep understanding of the psychological and emotional challenges faced by first responders, veterans, and those affected by traumatic events. Through compassionate and evidence-based therapy, I provide support, guidance, and coping strategies to empower my clients on their healing journey.
