About me
Hello! I am a dual-licensed professional, serving as both a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and a Licensed School Counselor. This unique background has given me extensive experience navigating diverse needs of many different people.
I truly enjoy working with a broad range of clients, from young children and adolescents to adults in various stages of life. In my practice, I thrive on creating a warm, therapeutic environment where you are truly heard. My goal is simple: I am here to listen and understand from your point of view to help you navigate life's challenges and become the very best version of yourself. Whether we are working through work or school-based transitions or personal adult growth, we will work together to build a path forward that feels authentic to you.
I believe that growth isn't about the speed of your journey, but the direction in which you are headed. As Confucius famously noted, it doesn't matter how slow you go as long as you don't give up.
In our work together, I am here to help you see things from a new point of view. My goal is to create a space where you feel completely supported, respected in your individuality, and free from judgment. While I provide a gentle and non-judgmental environment, I will also encourage you to step outside your comfort zone and try new approaches to the challenges you face.
History shows us that the greatest achievers are those who stay focused on their goals and remain consistent in their efforts. Whether you are navigating a major life transition or seeking personal growth, I will be a steady partner in your process—helping you stay focused, maintain consistency, and move toward becoming your best self at a pace that works for you.
I like to use several therapeutic modalities when we meet, including CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy), Family Systems Therapy, Grief Therapy, and TF-CBT (Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy). I am person-centered and narrative in my approach.
