About me
I am an experienced therapist dedicated to helping clients heal from emotional pain, rebuild trust, and create meaningful change in their relationships and personal lives.
Experienced therapist helping individuals, couples, and military families heal emotional pain, rebuild trust, and create lasting change.
Reaching out for therapy can feel vulnerable, especially when you are carrying emotional pain, relationship stress, betrayal, chronic pain, grief, loss, military stress, or the weight of life transitions. My goal is to provide a warm, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where you feel safe enough to be honest, understood, and empowered to grow.
I work with individuals, couples, and military families who are feeling stuck in patterns that no longer serve them—whether that looks like anxiety, communication struggles, separation, infidelity recovery, trust issues, chronic pain, grief, caregiver stress, deployment stress, reintegration challenges, family strain, or the emotional exhaustion that comes from trying to hold everything together alone. Many clients come to therapy wanting relief, clarity, and a way forward but are unsure where to begin. Together, we create that path.
Many of the clients I work with are navigating some of the most painful moments in their lives: relationship conflict, betrayal, emotional distance, communication breakdowns, chronic pain, chronic illness adjustment, grief, loss, military family stress, repeated separations, relocations, and the fear that things may never feel safe or connected again. Whether you are trying to repair your relationship after infidelity, cope with the loss of a loved one, manage the emotional impact of chronic pain or illness, support a loved one through medical challenges, reconnect after deployment, adjust after a PCS or major life change, decide whether to stay or separate, or simply stop repeating the same painful arguments, therapy can help create clarity and movement.
I specialize in helping couples slow down reactive cycles, improve communication, and rebuild emotional safety. Together we work on reducing criticism, defensiveness, contempt, shutdown patterns, intimacy struggles, and the disconnection that can develop after stress, betrayal, deployment, or prolonged emotional distance. I help couples learn how to pause before reacting, listen with greater empathy, and express needs in ways that create understanding instead of conflict. Even when trust has been broken, relationships can heal when both partners are willing to understand the deeper pain beneath the patterns.
I also support individuals who are carrying anxiety, unresolved trauma, chronic pain, chronic illness stress, grief, self-doubt, military transition stress, caregiver fatigue, or the emotional exhaustion that comes from always being the one holding everything together. Therapy can be especially helpful when physical pain, medical stress, military demands, or loss begins to affect your relationships, mood, identity, confidence, or sense of hope. Together we work to process grief, strengthen coping skills, build resilience, create healthier boundaries, and move toward healing with greater self-compassion.
I understand that military life can place unique strain on individuals, couples, and families. Frequent moves, deployments, separations, role changes, and the challenges of reintegration can create stress that impacts trust, communication, parenting, intimacy, and emotional connection. Therapy offers a place to process these transitions, strengthen resilience, and rebuild a sense of stability and support.
Clients often describe my style as warm, compassionate, and direct. I strive to create a space where you feel genuinely heard, supported, and challenged in ways that foster meaningful growth. Therapy with me is collaborative and goal-oriented, while still honoring your pace and readiness for change. I balance emotional support with practical strategies so you leave sessions with insight, tools, and a clearer sense of direction. Whether we are working through relationship conflict, grief, chronic pain, military stress, anxiety, caregiver stress, or life transitions, my focus is helping you feel more empowered, connected, and capable of moving forward.
I believe meaningful change happens when clients feel both supported and challenged. My role is to help you better understand your patterns, strengthen emotional awareness, improve communication, and develop practical tools that create lasting shifts in your life, health journey, military transition, and relationships.
Seeking support is a meaningful first step, and you do not have to navigate these challenges alone. Whether you are feeling overwhelmed by loss, chronic pain, military demands, relationship stress, betrayal, medical changes, or emotional pain, therapy can offer a path toward healing, clarity, resilience, and lasting change. I would be honored to support you in creating the life and relationships you want.
