I moved to Vero Beach from West Virginia in 1984. I attended Florida State University from 1995 to 1999, active Chi Omega Sorority member, and graduated Cum Laude with a Masters in Social Work and Minor in Psychology. I currently am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of Florida and continue to reside on the Treasure Coast.

I have worked in a variety of settings over the last 26 years. This includes inpatient psychiatric, Department of Juvenile Justice Corrections, Therapeutic group home for girls in DJJ or DCF care/custody, behavior analysis, Community Mental Health, and Hospice. I have primarily worked with children including those in foster care and DJJ custody, families, and individuals facing personal struggles.

I utilize a client/family centered approach focused on strengths and solutions to assist individuals and/or families to become empowered to live their happiest, healthiest lives. I utilize CBT, DBT, Mindfulness, Emotional Regulation, and interpersonal skills to assist individuals and families to manage symptoms related to mental health, overcome obstacles, improve environment, increase self-worth, and cope with life's stressors.
