About me
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor who is dedicated to helping couples with marital challenges, adolescents and adults with anxiety, depression, ADHD, and women who have experienced trauma that has negatively impacted their lives.
My passion is working with couples who are seeking to improve their relationships, children and teens who struggle with ADHD, social anxieties, and other behavioral disorders, as well as teens and women who have experienced various forms of trauma. I also enjoy working with anyone who struggles with anxiety and depression, or who is having difficulty coping with or managing stressors in their daily lives, and who are seeking ways to improve relationships with others. I believe that one’s core values, beliefs, and self-talk influence behavior, and that negative past experiences color future expectations. Hence why I believe people’s stories are essential in building understanding and encouraging self-discovery. I see people as individuals, meeting them where they are in their life now, and wanting to know more about their life story that has shaped them into who they are today.
I provide the following therapies: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Person-Centered Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Gestalt Therapy, and Gottman Therapy. I consider myself to be eclectic in my therapy approach, as I utilize many different therapies that are tailored to the needs of my clients.
I see clients in person in my Oregon office location, or I can also provide telehealth services to those who are out of the local area and reside in Oregon or Idaho.
