About me
Healing doesn’t happen in isolation—it happens when the mind, body, and nervous system are supported together in a space of safety and understanding. In other words, healing happens when the mind is understood, the body feels safe, and your story is honored.
My Background
With more than two decades of experience in community based and nonprofit work—and over 8 years as a therapist—I bring both depth and heart to the therapeutic process. I earned my degree from the University of Memphis School of Social Work and provide trauma informed therapy for adults. I am trained in EMDR and Brainspotting and draw from multiple approaches to support healing at both emotional and nervous system levels.
Who I Help
I support clients experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, relationship challenges, perinatal mood and anxiety disorders, sexual health concerns, and chronic illness, including HIV/AIDS. I offer specialized support for individuals navigating perinatal mood and anxiety disorders, fertility and reproductive health concerns, pregnancy, postpartum adjustment, and the emotional complexities that often accompany these life transitions. I am committed to providing affirming care for LGBTQIA+ individuals and honoring the full complexity of each person’s lived experience.
What Therapy Feels Like
Clients often describe therapy with me as collaborative, grounding, and supportive. I work to create a space where you feel safe enough to be honest, curious, and human. Together, we focus on building insight, strengthening coping skills, and reconnecting with the parts of you that foster resilience and growth.
