About me

With over 20 years of experience in the mental health field, I support individuals and professionals navigating life transitions, relationship challenges, and career changes through compassionate, trauma-informed therapy. When desired, I integrate faith and values into the healing process. I also provide clinical supervision, helping future clinicians grow with confidence, clarity, and purpose.

With over 20 years of experience in the mental health field, I bring a depth of knowledge, compassion, and practical wisdom to my work as a licensed clinical social worker. I am licensed in Maryland, Virginia, and Washington, D.C., and provide therapy exclusively through virtual sessions, making care accessible and flexible for clients with demanding schedules. My practice, The Reclaimed Path Clinical Services, was founded to support individuals and professionals as they navigate seasons of transition and growth.

I specialize in working with adults who are experiencing major life transitions—whether leaving or starting a job, going through marriage or divorce, navigating parenthood, experiencing grief and loss, or reaching a new milestone or reimagining their life path. Many of my clients are professionals, first responders, caregivers, and faith-based individuals who find themselves at a crossroads, uncertain of how to move forward. These transitions often bring up feelings of anxiety, depression, insecurity, or grief. Therapy provides a safe space to untangle those emotions, reconnect with inner strengths, and take practical steps toward healing and clarity.

My expertise includes trauma-informed care, cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), strengths-based approaches, and values-guided interventions that empower clients to align their daily choices with their goals and sense of purpose. I believe therapy should be both supportive and practical, giving clients tools they can use in their everyday lives. Clients often come to me seeking relief from anxiety, stress, relationship challenges, and self-doubt, but stay engaged because they also find encouragement, accountability, and a clear framework for personal growth.

For clients who desire it, I integrate faith and spirituality into the therapeutic process. Many of the people I serve draw strength and identity from their faith traditions, and I honor that by weaving in spiritual reflection when appropriate. At the same time, therapy with me is always client-centered—I respect each person’s worldview and tailor my approach to what feels most authentic and supportive for them.

Beyond individual therapy, I am also a board-approved clinical supervisor. I provide individual and group supervision for early-career social workers and counselors, supporting their growth into confident and competent clinicians. My supervision style is collaborative and encouraging, with an emphasis on clinical skill-building, professional boundaries, ethical decision-making, and self-care. I see supervision as not only a requirement for licensure but as an opportunity to nurture the next generation of therapists. I help supervisees develop their unique clinical voice while equipping them with tools to thrive in the field.

Clients and supervisees alike describe me as warm, approachable, and deeply invested in their success. I am committed to creating a therapeutic and supervisory space that is safe, non-judgmental, and affirming. In my sessions, honesty and compassion go hand in hand—I believe in naming the truth of a situation while also offering encouragement and practical guidance for change.

Common themes in my practice include:

Managing workplace stress, toxic work environments, and professional identity crises

Coping with grief, loss, and unexpected life changes

Addressing anxiety, depression, and stress-related health concerns

Rebuilding self-esteem, confidence, and a sense of direction

Exploring faith and spirituality as sources of strength and meaning

Navigating being strong one that everyone goes to prioritizing their own needs while managing other responsibilities.

Supporting women and men of color navigating cultural and systemic challenges in professional and personal spaces

Helping professionals in transition (new careers, retirement, leadership roles, entrepreneurship)

Teaching healthy boundary setting, emotional regulation, and coping strategies

Overcoming imposter syndrome

My approach is both relational and practical. I listen deeply, but I also guide clients in practicing new ways of thinking and behaving. Together we identify patterns, challenge unhelpful beliefs, and build healthier routines. Whether it’s reframing a toxic workplace experience, processing grief from a broken relationship, or developing a plan for a new career, I aim to help my clients leave each session with a sense of clarity and direction.

Ultimately, my mission is to help people reclaim their path—to reconnect with their values, elevate their perspective, and thrive in their next chapter.
