About me
Katie is an experienced therapist who has spent over a decade helping women and teens heal with their pasts in order to thrive in their futures.
As a licensed mental health therapist, I specialize in helping teenage girls, young women, and mothers navigate life’s challenges and heal from past trauma. My passion lies in creating a compassionate, supportive space where my clients feel seen, heard, and empowered to reclaim their stories. Many of the women and girls I work with carry emotional wounds that stem from early life experiences—whether it’s unresolved childhood trauma, anxiety, feelings of unworthiness, or the pressure to “hold it all together.” These struggles can be overwhelming and isolating, but you don’t have to face them alone.
Through a trauma-informed approach and EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), I help my clients process painful memories, build emotional resilience, and reconnect with their inner strength. EMDR is a powerful, evidence-based tool that allows the brain to reprocess traumatic experiences in a safe, structured way so healing can truly begin.
Whether you're a teen trying to find your voice, a young woman navigating major life transitions, or a mom trying to care for everyone while struggling silently yourself—this space is for you. Together, we’ll work to break generational cycles, build healthy boundaries, and rediscover joy and self-worth. Healing is possible. And you deserve it.
