About me
As a mental health counselor, I strive to create a safe, supportive, and judgement free space where clients feel heard, respected, and understood. I work with individuals navigating serious mental illness (SMI), depression, anxiety, trauma, and life transitions. I believe that every person's experiences are unique, and counseling should be tailored to each individual's needs, strengths and goals.
My approach is inclusive, collaborative, and compassionate. I welcome clients of all backgrounds, identities, and beliefs. I am committed to creating a space where you feel seen and respected. I have particular experience supporting LGBTQ+ individuals, those exploring sexuality and gender identity, and people facing discrimination or multicultural concerns.
I specialize in trauma-informed care and work with clients experiencing post-traumatic stress, attachment challenges, panic disorder, and self-harm. I also support individuals managing mood disorders, obsessive-compulsive patterns, eating concerns, substance use, and personality-related struggles. Additionally, I have experience working with first responders, neurodivergent individuals, and those navigating domestic violence or sexual assault.
My therapeutic style is grounded in evidence-based practices. I believe in meeting you where you are and working together to build insight, resilience, and meaningful change. Whether you're seeking support for a specific concern or exploring deeper questions about purpose and self-love, I'm here to help you move forward with compassion and authenticity.
