I am an experienced psychologist who is dedicated to helping adults, young adults and children improve their mental health and quality of life.
My goal is to help you achieve balance and wellness in your life. We work collaboratively using proven treatment approaches that have been shown to effectively help bring about change. As a licensed clinical psychologist, I provide psychotherapy for adults, young adults and school-age children (ages 4 to 12) with a variety of psychological challenges and mental health issues. When I work with children, I collaborate with parents as well. My goal is to help people understand the complexities of mental health issues and develop healthy coping strategies. I am a certified DBT therapist, a certified provider in the area of 123 Magic: a 3 step approach for calm, effective & happy parenting. I am experienced in diagnosing Autism Spectrum Disorder in young children, as well as ADHD and learning disorders. My substantive experiences contributes to my ability to address your needs.
As a tenured professor, my published research has focused on preschooler development as well as a structured protocol that I developed for facilitating difficult conversations.
