You are passionate about the work that you do. You care about the people that you serve and you take pride in your work ethic but you find that something is missing. The life you envision for yourself isn't manifesting in the way that you thought it would.

The work days are long. Distress comes and goes. You know that there are better ways to handle the stressors of life, but you haven't had to time to figure it out. You have spent so much time and energy taking care of others that you have nothing left for family or even for yourself.

I have had the privilege of working with people all along their mental health journey. Wherever you are in your distress, I can meet you there to continue your progress towards recovery. You can depend on a therapeutic relationship where we prioritize and celebrate your strengths. System change is important, but you don't have to wait to reclaim joy.

My treatment uses evidence-based interventions. I believe that these interventions work best in the context of a warm and empathic therapeutic relationship in which your strengths are emphasized and honored. I am passionate about avoiding overpathologizing and focus on understanding symptoms within the context in which they appear.

I come from a medical family and have professional experience in hospital systems. I have experienced firsthand some of the stressors of healthcare work. But you are the expert on your life. You have been coping with your suffering in the best way you can. I would be honored to share that burden with you, and to help you move to a place of healing and hope.
