About me
Certified Forensic Mental Health Evaluator | Multicultural Trauma Therapist | Bridging Mental Health and the Diversion Court System with Culturally Responsive, Ethical, and Individualized Care. Committed to delivering a comprehensive range of services that support diverse communities from all walks of life.
I am a doctoral candidate in Marriage and Family Therapy Studies, a Licensed Trauma Clinical Professional Therapist, Certified Forensic Mental Health Evaluator, and Multicultural Trauma Therapist, dually licensed in Delaware and Maryland. With over 25 years of clinical and forensic experience, I am dedicated to guiding individuals, couples, families, and communities through the complexities of mental health, trauma, and their intersection with the legal system.
My professional mission is to bridge the multifaceted domains of behavioral health and forensic services, with a particular focus on marginalized and underserved populations. I am honored to serve clients across all backgrounds—regardless of nationality, culture, race, socioeconomic status, gender, sex, region, or mental and legal status—by promoting equity and access to high-quality care.
My therapeutic approach is grounded in compassion, integrity, and the highest ethical standards. I integrate a broad spectrum of evidence-based modalities, including client-centered therapy, Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), trauma-focused interventions, somatic and polyvagal approaches, holistic care, and neuroscience-informed non-verbal techniques. This integrative framework ensures every intervention is tailored to each client’s unique needs and lived experiences.
I provide a comprehensive array of forensic and clinical services: forensic evaluations, psychotherapy, competence restoration, psychological and risk assessments, interdisciplinary collaboration, crisis intervention, staff training, data analysis, program development, outcome measurement, and policy consultation. My trauma-focused forensic work is distinguished by rigorous assessment, collaborative treatment planning with psychiatric providers, and a commitment to measurable outcomes—such as improved patient adherence, reduced diagnostic error rates, and enhanced service delivery.
As a Clinical Delaware Board Supervisor and Clinical Director, I am dedicated to advancing best practices, mentoring future clinicians, and leading innovative, outcome-driven behavioral health programs.
Whether you are seeking expert forensic evaluation, guidance navigating the behavioral health or legal systems, or compassionate support through a challenging time, I am committed to providing the highest standard of care—delivered with professionalism, cultural humility, and unwavering dedication to your well-being.
