About me
I am a child and adolescent therapist who is dedicated to helping children cope with anxiety, depression, and anger.
I enjoy working with children, adolescents, and young adults. I works with individuals presenting with ADHD, trauma, Autism Spectrum Disorder, depression, bipolar, borderline personality disorder, anxiety disorders and adjustment disorders. I have experience working in public and therapeutic day schools and currently split my time between Connections Day School and Counseling Connections.
I enjoy working with individual clients as well as their families or support systems. I likes to meet clients where they are and use a welcoming and non judgmental approach. In addition, I uses various techniques in my therapeutic approach such as mindfulness, creative or art activities, games, talk therapy, and challenging negative thoughts to help support the individual. I also likes to focus on the strengths of each individual and how to use that to best support them in their change and growth. I provide a safe, caring environment that focuses on managing client problems in a healthy and productive way.
