About me
I provide individual therapy services for clients recovering from trauma and relational issues and struggling with depression and anxiety.
I earned my Master of Social Work from The Ohio State University and I have over 5 years of experience providing therapy to clients recovering from trauma and abuse, healing from depression and anxiety, and hoping to increase their skills use. I earned my Bachelor's in Education and worked for a couple years in the special education setting of a middle school. I love utilizing my education background with clients to teach new skills and support families as they navigate the education system as well. I mostly utilize my training in EMDR (Eye-Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to teach skills to clients to manage intense emotions, manage crises, improve relationships, and re-process trauma memories through utilizing bilateral stimulation while focusing on a trauma memory to allow the brain to complete its natural healing process and help clients feel "unstuck" from unwanted patterns and triggers. I want you to feel relief from symptoms and have the tools to manage your current stressors after you leave each appointment with me!
